A Panel on the Promotion and Activities of the Turkish Red Crescent was Held for TÖMER Students

A panel titled "Promotion and Activities of the Turkish Red Crescent " was held by the Red Crescent team for TÖMER students on 02.04.2024 at 13.30 at the Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center .

Young Red Crescent representatives who held the panel, Ahmed Yousef Albanna , Md. Asif Mahmud Aumi and Emrah Şükürlü, while giving information about the establishment of the Red Crescent , stated that its purpose is to try to prevent or alleviate human suffering without any discrimination, to protect human life and health, to ensure respect for his personality and to promote mutual understanding, friendship, respect, cooperation and mutual understanding between people. They stated that they were constantly trying to bring peace. Students of Turkish Teaching Application and Research Center were informed about volunteering activities, donations, aid visits and national and international aid. Young Red Crescent representatives stated that 1 unit of donated blood contributed to the treatment of 3 different people in need and drew attention to the importance of blood donation.

The panel was attended by Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center Director Dr. Lecturer It ended with member Melek KALIN SALI thanking the Young Red Crescent representatives.
