Ambassador of Kazakhstan Yerkebulan Sapiyev and other guests were welcomed with the presentation of bavursak and flowers by TÖMER students from Kazakhstan. Following his meeting at the Rector's Office, Mr. Ambassador met with Kazakhstani students studying in different units of our University and currently at TÖMER, at the Rectorate Senate Hall. After the national anthems of Turkey and Kazakhstan were sung, Rector Erenoğlu stated that approximately 200 Kazakhstan students were studying at associate, undergraduate and graduate levels at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University and said, "I have felt very much since the time they started learning Turkish at our university that each of them has become a Turkish ambassador and a Çanakkale ambassador in terms of internationalization." At the welcome event held with the contributions of Kazakhstani Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center (TÖMER) students, presentations prepared by Kazakh students were made after watching the promotional video of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University.
