Aşık Veysel was deemed worthy of the Presidential Culture and Arts grand prize in the "Loyalty" category in 2022. In addition, in order to commemorate Aşık Veysel throughout the country and abroad, it was decided by the Presidential Circular that 2023 will be the "Year of Aşık Veysel" . Within the scope of the Year of Commemoration of Aşık Veysel, " Topragin Language" Ceramics and Marbling Workshop Turkish Teaching Application and Research Center ( It was held at ÇASEM Ceramics Workshop on December 26, 2023, between 13.00 and 17.00, with the participation of TÖMER) students.

made a ceramic panel about Aşık Veysel. As Tömer, Aşık Veysel's poems were written on ceramics in order to understand Aşık Veysel, to popularize Turkish culture and to reinforce Turkish . Within the scope of the workshop, the art of Ebru was performed by TÖMER students accompanied by the folk songs of Aşık Veysel.

The opening of the "Language of Soil" Ceramics and Marbling exhibition, held within the scope of Aşık Veysel commemoration year events, was held by our Rector Prof.Dr. R. Cüneyt ERENOĞLU 's It was held on 21.03.2024 with their participation .

The program, held in the Senate hall of our university, was attended by Turkish Teaching Application and Research Center Director Dr. Lecturer It started with the opening speech of member Melek KALIN SALI . In his speech, KALIN SALI stated that Aşık Veysel is one of the names who use Turkish in the simplest and most powerful way. At the same time; "We met with the flowers of the earth and the magic of water with Veysel's Turkish to explain our beautiful Turkish to our beloved students who come from different cultures and nations and speak different languages, and to introduce our art of marbling and ceramics, which are important values of our culture," he said.

Rector Prof. Dr. R.Cüneyt ERENOĞLU at the opening; He stated that he was happy that Aşık Veysel was recognized by international students from different cultures of the world, taught and discussed in an event. Then, Rector ERENOĞLU presented certificates of appreciation to the Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center students who participated in the workshop and the academic and administrative staff who contributed.

After the speeches, Kuralay , one of TÖMER students, Primkulova sang Aşık Veysel's folk song "Uzun İnce Bir Yoldadım".

Following the opening of the ceramic panel exhibition made by Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center students and the marbling exhibition made by TÖMER students, the program ended with a group photo shoot.
