Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Turkish Teaching Application and Research Center was first established in 2010, with the aim of teaching Turkish to foreigners, based on the language centers operating in Turkey and the world and today's changing conditions.
It aims to help hundreds of foreign students who come to our university, as well as Erasmus students and individuals who want to learn Turkish as a foreign language for various reasons, in language learning. Founded for this purpose, ÇOMÜ TÖMER teaches basic language skills and vocabulary at basic, intermediate and advanced levels.

Vision
Studies in teaching a language to foreigners must be qualified both institutionally and practically. Being aware of this situation, while teaching Turkish to foreigners, we carry out education and training activities in the light of scientific and contemporary developments, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. ÇOMÜ TÖMER aims to conduct studies in this field and reach new developments and practices in language teaching.
Education system
Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University TÖMER courses; It is carried out in the form of reading, listening, speaking and writing activities in language classes, supported by expert instructors in the field, with the most appropriate audio-visual tools and educational materials for language teaching.

The exchange rates have been created according to the exchange rate systems stipulated in the Council of Europe Common Application Framework for Foreign Languages. Language certificates are given to our students who complete the basic, intermediate and advanced levels.
